Okta is the vendor-neutral choice. It runs from about $6 to $17 per user per month with a $1,500 annual minimum, and you assemble what you need — SSO, adaptive MFA, lifecycle management, governance — from separately priced modules. Its strength is breadth of integrations and not being tied to any one cloud, which is exactly why multi-cloud shops and companies with sprawling SaaS estates pick it despite the cost.

The decision is mostly about what you already own. Deep in Microsoft 365: Entra ID, and you may not need to pay anything beyond what you have.
