Editorial policy
How StackLegder decides what to cover, how we rank tools, and how we handle vendors.
Independence
No vendor pays for coverage, placement, or a rating. Entries are chosen on reader demand, not on who has an affiliate programme. If we ever earn a referral fee or hold a vendor relationship, it is disclosed at the top of that entry.
How we pick "our take"
Our recommendation in each entry is based on published pricing, plan limits, and hands-on use where we have it. We say who each plan is really for rather than naming a single winner, because the cheapest option depends on your usage.
Accuracy and verification
Every figure is taken from the vendor's official pricing page and dated. We re-verify an entry whenever a covered vendor changes pricing, and at least every 90 days regardless. See How we verify pricing for the full method.
Corrections
Errors are fixed promptly and recorded, with a date and a description, in the public change log. Readers can report a problem through the contact page. Change log.
Use of AI tools
We use AI tools to help draft and format entries. Every entry is fact-checked against primary sources and reviewed by a second editor before it publishes. A person is accountable for every entry, named in the byline.
Authorship
Every entry carries a byline linking to the editor's profile. Editors disclose any holding or commercial relationship relevant to what they cover.
